May I introduce a story about a woman who has survived loss, injury and a disappointing event that changes her life altogether. This powerhouse is Cassandra James. A former CIA agent employed at her father’s security firm. If you love your geeks, this one will get your tongues wagging. Trevor Bauer employed at the NSA is what those in the field refer to as a desk jockey. Struggling with a mystery surrounding his parents’ disappearance and his real identity, he has given up all but solving this enigma.
When there is a huge data theft on Cassandra’s watch, she is removed from her first major assignment and she is determined to solve it. This leads her to the NSA and Trevor who was doing some analysis because of a name similarity between the data trials and his parent’s boat. The initial meeting was supposed to be a simple interrogation but it turned into so much more.
With Trevor’s help and some serious frequent flyer miles accumulated, she finds the stolen data and they both find a love with one another that burns as bright as the ripe curse that Trevor utters when they meet for the first time.
This story is engaging and the characters are as approachable as your best friends.
